What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi-formal. A suit or sport coat with slacks (tie optional) or a cocktail/midi-length dress is perfect. We’d love for our guests to dress in soft, earthy tones if possible. The photo above can serve as color inspiration—think warm neutrals, muted greens, gentle blues, dusty pinks, golden hues, and rich browns.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we’d love to celebrate with everyone, we are keeping this an adults-only event unless otherwise noted on your invitation.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We’d love to include everyone, but due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.

When should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony begins at 5:00 PM. Please plan to arrive around 4:30 PM so you have time to park, get seated, and settle in.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
Both will be held at The BRIX on the Fox (The Two-Sixty) in Carpentersville, IL. All events will take place indoors.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes! The venue offers a free, private parking lot with plenty of spaces. Cars may also be left overnight but must be picked up before noon the following day.

Is there a hotel block nearby?
Answer
Yes! We’ve reserved blocks at two nearby hotels at a discounted rate. You can find booking links on our “Travel” page. We recommend booking early to secure your room.

Is there transportation to/from the venue?
Answer
Yes! Both hotel blocks include complimentary shuttle service to and from the venue. Final shuttle times will be shared closer to the wedding date.

Is the venue handicap accessible?
Answer
Yes! Every door has a ramp and is ADA compliant.

I have a dietary restriction, can I make a special request?
Answer
We want all of our guests to enjoy dinner! Please include any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP, and our caterer will be happy to provide an accommodation.
