It's Time to Saddle Up & Settle Down

Eric and I met through some mutual friends, the first time I laid eyes on him was an evening I was having a party at my house. He showed up with his dogs (all 4 of them) and I thought to myself "wow, someone as crazy as me!" We spent some time together just as friends going horseback riding, camping and just hanging out in general. A few months went by and Eric had invited to go riding with him again.. but this time it was different. I dragged my butt out of bed EARLY! (mind you I had been at the Garth Brooks concert the night before with my friend Allison) Naturally, I was late... Eric was of course a gentleman and waited for me. We had a great ride and I knew this special friendship had definitely taken a step in a different direction. After our ride Eric invited myself and some friends over to our friends house to watch the UK game (neither of us care about sports!) It was that evening we both stepped out of the shed to just have some time to ourselves and he KISSED ME! It was FIREWORKS, it was LIGHTING, it was THUNDER & most of all it was LOVE. Our relationship began right then and there.. Fast forward a few more months had passed and I asked Eric to move in, we then started our own Brady Bunch.. Expect it should be called the Potraffke Paws! We combined our furbabies of 7 dogs & 3 horses, we were living the good life! Life was great and it only kept getting better! We found out a few months after living together that we were pregnant. We were both shocked but more than thrilled for our next adventure. Our daughter was born 4/8/18, Luna Mae has been the best thing to ever happen to us! On a dreary day in August Eric and I went on a trail, just the two of us. He asked me to dismount my horse and we stood there hugging for a few minutes and he got down on one knee. Of course I said "YES!!" with just our horses and our dogs as our witnesses our best adventure was beginning! We look forward to having everyone join us for the big day!
