Have we reserved a hotel block?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at Homewood Suites Grand Rapids Downtown. It is located right across the street from the reception location. There is information about this room block and other hotel options on the Travel page.

Where is the Reception?

Answer

Ballroom at the McKay 146 Monroe Center St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 https://maps.app.goo.gl/KtJKc2YjiSa6JHXu6 Parking is located across Pearl St. in the parking garage along with any available street parking.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask for formal or black-tie optional attire. We suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear an evening gown or a midi- or knee-length cocktail dress.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.

Are children invited?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate any children beyond those indicated on the invite or online RSVP. We hope you understand our decision. If you are planning on coming and need help finding childcare please reach out to Julie Post (712) 441-0361

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

Please reply either by mailing the RSVP card or online by May 25. Please make sure to put your name on the paper RSVP before returning it. Otherwise we have no idea who has sent the RSVP.

Are you allowed to take photos?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. There will be time to take photos after the ceremony and during the reception.
