As you all know Kevin and I met in high school and started dating when i was 16. However our story actually started about a year before we started dating. Kevin's senior year(my sophomore), he was my gym dance partner, I thought I got so lucky cause I got a cute senior as my partner! However he was terrible, constantly stepping on my feet, and he was missing the steps. I remember complaining to my friends how I wanted a new partner; no matter how cute he was my feet were more important. I didn’t see or think about Kevin till later that year when a friends car had ran out of gas. My friend told me he was going to call a friend to come help. Come to find out that friend happened to be my terrible dance partner. I remember Kevin walking up and thinking he was cuter now that he wasn't stepping on my feet. I proceeded to ask my friend the rest of the night all about him. The following day at school I told my friend Brittanee about him. We made it a point to walk by him that day so she could see who he was. As we did she shoved me into him forcing us to talk. We eventually became friends hanging out in advisement together; discussing our hobbies, losses and family life. Once Kevin graduated we lost touch and we each went on with our lives. We talked on and off checking in on each other over the next year. It wasn't until February break of my junior year when he reached out. He asked how I was and if I wanted to hang out soon; of course I said yes. We have been together ever since!
