We highly recommend staying at The Westin at The Woodlands! Conveniently located in the heart of The Waterway Arts District, this hotel offers easy access to most of the weekend’s events, which will be either next door or within walking distance. We’ll also provide shuttles to/from the wedding venue and the hotel for your convenience. There is also a complimentary trolley throughout the Arts District, where you can explore a variety of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options. Flight
The George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is the closest airport to the hotel and wedding venue, just a quick 20-minute drive away—practically next door by Houston standards! We recommend all of our guests, both domestic and international, fly into IAH for the most convenient travel experience. However, if you prefer flying Southwest Airlines, you’ll need to arrive at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), which is about a 50-minute drive to the hotel and venue. Luckily, Ubers and other rideshare services are widely available (and affordable!) throughout Houston, making transportation to and from the airports a breeze!
Travel Note
Most of the weekend’s events are conveniently located within a very short walking distance of The Westin, and shuttle buses will be provided for the ceremony and reception. The only exception is the pickleball tournament, which is just a 9-minute drive from the hotel. With ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft being both widely available and affordable in Houston, we recommend using them for transportation. If you prefer to rent a car, you can conveniently do so at the airport upon arrival. Parking near The Westin ranges from $5 to $30 per day, depending on your need for in-and-out access. There is also a free trolley that operates for limited hours and travels around the district in which The Westin is located.
