FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tiffany Midyette and Christopher Polk
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP on our wedding website by October 1st.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the “Travel” section of our wedding website for hotel recommendations. We have listed hotels that are located on the beach, in town (Navarre), and hotels that are closer to the venue. Please feel free to reach out to us if you need more information on the area.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

The absolute greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day, but if you’d like to get us a gift, a contribution to our future/honeymoon fund would be appreciated. We are also registered on Amazon. Both can be found on the “Registry” section of our wedding website. If you choose to get us a gift off of Amazon, please have the gift shipped to our home in New Mexico due to limited space during travel.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kiddos more than you know, but we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults only event. Thank you for your understanding and we hope you enjoy your date night!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see all of our family and friends dressed up with us! It’s a semi formal evening and we kindly ask for no white clothing. Jeans are not preferred.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at the venue, we cannot accommodate additional guests. We ask that only the people named on the invitation attend the event.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3:30. Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to allow for enough time to get parked and seated.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Camp Retreat has a parking area near the barn.

Question

Are you having an “unplugged” ceremony?

Answer

Not necessarily, but we ask that all devices are silenced. You can take photos and videos during the ceremony, but please be respectful to the guests around you and stay seated unless asked otherwise. We do not want our photographer to be blocked from capturing our special moments. During the reception, you may take all the photos and videos you’d like! Be sure to share and tag us in the photos/your posts!
