What should I wear?

Answer

Think Sunset Soiree or that Golden Hour feel. Think margaritas at the beach with your favorite people. Laid-back, casual, but with a more "dressed-up" feel. You're ultimately going to be walking in the sand, so Aloha shirts, fun sundresses- nothing too serious! I would probably leave the fancy heels at home for this one. Prepare to be dancing all night! We're just excited to have ya there! Don't overthink it. If you seriously can't think of something, reach out to Nick or Clara for some guidance.

When should I RSVP by?

August 1st, please! The earlier the better.

What will the weather be like for the big day?

Answer

After all, it is "local summer" in Southern California, so it should be beautiful. Warm and sunny during the day and cooler once the sun sets. Obviously, if Mother Nature makes other plans, we will move things indoors. Fingers crossed for clear skies!

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Answer

No, thank you! Kid-free wedding, but feel free to bring them for a weekend of fun. They'll have to hang back (or fend for themselves ;) ) for the actual ceremony/reception.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, of course! We'll be able to accommodate all kinds of dietary and allergy preferences. We want you to have a good time and actually be able to eat :)

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Outdoors! We suggest bringing a light jacket in case you get chilly. There will be fire pits you can warm up by!

What kind of food will be served?

We're doing a Luau! We will have options for all dietary restrictions too- just please let us know how we can accommodate. We want you to be comfortable and well fed!

Are pictures allowed during ceremony?

Answer

Nope! Just enjoy the moment, and please refrain from using your phones during the ceremony.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Nope. Please check out our "travel" page for hotel suggestions. There are a bunch of vacation rental homes available in Avalon too if that's more your style.

I get seasick- is there another way to get to the island?

Yep! It's a little pricey, but you can actually take a quick helicopter ride! If you'd rather tough it out on the ferry, don't hesitate to reach out to Clara for some tips/tricks about combatting sea-sickness.

Do we have a seating chart?

Hell no! Buffet-style, so mingling is strongly encouraged!!
