National Car Rental: (844) 366-0499. Driving around the city of Portland is convenient and easy, but the cost of parking can be quite high. One of the hotels we recommend has free parking (The Inn at Northrup Station). Taking a ride share service or taxi is also easy if you are planning on walking around the city. Other than riding to and from the airport, most rides are relatively inexpensive.

Public Transportation

We do not recommend taking public transportation from the airport (MAX Red Line) unless you are staying in the NE part of the city. It is best to rent a car, use Uber, Lyft, or take a taxi.

We have arranged for a block of rooms at The Embassy Suites in Downtown Portland! This is where we will have Shabbat dinner and brunch. This hotel was built in 1912 as the Multnomah Hotel. The hotel has hosted Queen Marie of Romania, Charles Lindbergh, Rudolph Valentino, Amelia Earhart, Jimmy Stewart, Bing Crosby, Jack Benny, Elvis Presley, every president from Theodore Roosevelt to Richard Nixon, and now, you. On Sunday, we have arranged for transportation from here to our ceremony and back to the hotel at the end of the evening. We recommend this hotel for our guests that keep Shabbat or those with children as it has a separate living area. To reserve a room in the block, please the link below.

The Hoxton, Portland

We have arranged for a block of rooms at The Hoxton! This is where we will be having welcome drinks and tapas. On Sunday, we have arranged for transportation from The Hoxton to our ceremony and back to the hotel at the end of the evening. Because The Hoxton is based out of the UK, some of the room sizes are considerably smaller than a typical US hotel. For that reason, we recommend booking a Roomy or Cosy size room. Inn at Northrup Station

While we do not have a block of rooms reserved and we will not be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue, this funky hotel is a great place to stay if you'd like to be closer to NW 23rd, the NS Street Car line, and within walking distance of a synagogue. It's spacious, comfortable, and each room comes with a full kitchen (including stove and fridge). This is an 8 minute drive or 30 minute walk to The Hoxton for other events or transportation on Sunday.

Embassy Suites Downtown has both self parking and valet parking. The Hoxton has valet parking available. Check their FAQs for rates. There are nearby paid parking lots with various rates, but they may not have availability. You may be able to reserve parking in advance.
