Look Whose Getting Married

We were casually introduced by a mutual friend on video chat, on a nice summer evening. The three of us shared stories, we joked and laughed, we spoke of Gods love and we prayed and each word spoken, each laugh heard, and every smile seen touched our soul.

We were best friends living our own world in two different countries. He a world of teamates, brothers, and sisters. She a writer, life coach, mother and good friend. A few nights a week we joined together on video chat. Were we were blessed with words of God, pain from our past and our desired future.

Love appeared in a woman who witnessed a Man who truly loves God, A God fearing man who shares the word and love of God and is an inspiration to everyone around him. A man who is gentle, kind and trustworthy. Love appeared to a man who opened his eyes to see a true woman of GOD. A woman who encourages and motivates everyone around her. A strong woman who is grounded, genuine, and smart The peeling of each emotional layer revealed a spiritual awakening that neither seen coming. The blossoming of true love and the desire to become one. Man unraveles a Gift from GOD and Woman who accepts and submits to the will of GOD.

The unexpected night when the words of God shifted to loving words of commitment, togetherness and forever. The words they spoken were filled with strong emotions and compassion. That night, she emotionaly accepted his passion and his desire to become complete by spending his life with her.

The distance between two people who love one another feels like an eternity in space. they love one another so much however the distance makes it really hard to express it. Expressing love is very important in the growth of the relationship. Without the expression of love a person couldn't see the faith, belief or the joy. With the absence of the expression of love one couldn't feel the passion, gentleness and care. Or hear the sweet words your not speaking words of appreciation, gratefulness and loyalty. When the love you have is not expressed then the growth of the relationship slowly moves, it brings no firm foundation, no desire to blossom and the feeling of being incomplete. The lack of expression is a long suffering of loneliness and dark.. A million miles apart him in Brazil and her in the States is the largest challenge the two faces daily to overcome. Spending much time on video speaking words of love doesn't match the the value of expression. One can say I love you all day, but without the expression the word love is like a slow leaky faucet that will leave you unfulfilled. Her flesh searches for his expression to show evidence that she is the only one for him. Lacking of such evidence leads her flesh l to greed, demanding his 24 hour time. so he sacrices moments away from sleep, eat, family and friends. His flesh seeks the expression of love from his gift to show he is the best man for her. The absence of that expression the flesh is requiring her attention, appreciation and respect for him being the head, the leader, the one whom she submits to. The word of the lord describes a love that is patient and kind, A love that doesn't envy, does not boast and is not proud. A l love that cause no dishonor and anger. A love that is not self seeking and keeps no record of each other wrongs. The distance has caused this scripture to be my song of strength. loving Richard with the many miles between us is a choice I make because of who he is and what we are together. I only control how I love and he controls his. In the end the choice is our own. The choice to live in faith, have comfort in spiritual strength and to remain guided by the word of God.
