Forever and a day

Our story began in a very modern way—online. What started as simple conversations quickly grew into something deeper, built on laughter, honesty, and an instant sense of comfort with one another. From the very beginning, we knew there was something special worth holding onto. As our relationship grew, we also faced some of life’s hardest moments together. We experienced the loss of several beloved family members, including the heartbreaking loss of Cameron's mother. Through grief and uncertainty, we leaned on each other, finding strength, patience, and unwavering support. Those seasons shaped us, teaching us the true meaning of partnership and reminding us that love isn’t just about the happy days—it’s about standing side by side through the hardest ones. Throughout it all, Cameron has been my protector in every sense of the word—steady, selfless, and always putting others first. As a firefighter, his dedication to serving and protecting his community is more than a career; it’s who he is at his core. That same courage, compassion, and reliability is what he brings into our relationship every day, making me feel safe, loved, and supported no matter what life brings our way. In between life’s challenges, we found joy in creating memories together. Traveling and vacationing became our favorite way to reconnect, explore new places, and dream about the future. Whether it was a weekend getaway or a longer adventure, those trips always felt like home as long as we were together. Now, as we take our next step forward, we’re excited to be building a life under one roof in our new home—a place filled with love, laughter, and dreams yet to come. What began as a swipe turned into forever. We couldn’t be more grateful to share this journey with the people we love most.

In the midst of loss, when my grandfather and mother passed away so closely together, Isabella became my beacon of light. Her presence revealed to me the true essence of love, showing me that there was someone destined to be my partner for life. That someone is Isabella. With this newfound clarity, I embarked on planning a proposal that would capture the significance of this moment. I chose Canandaigua Pier, a place that now holds special meaning for us. I had no troubles selecting the perfect ring, a cherished heirloom from my mother, passed down through my brother. Everything seemed to fall into place perfectly. I disguised our trip as an anniversary getaway, and I was blessed to have my two closest friends join us in Canandaigua to capture and share in this unforgettable day. As we strolled down the pier, it felt as though the universe had orchestrated every detail. I knelt down, my heart full of hope and love, and asked Isabella if she would spend the rest of her life with me. To my immense joy, she said yes! Nate and Timmy were there to witness and immortalize the moment. We celebrated with a delightful lunch and a special dinner at Nolan’s on the Lake, surrounded by love and happiness.

We are choosing to celebrate our wedding with a small, intimate dinner, because that’s what feels most true to us. No big production, no pressure—just a few tables filled with the people who have mattered most along the way. The kind of evening where conversations linger, laughter comes easily, and every moment feels personal instead of rushed. After meeting online and building something real from a distance, it feels right to keep this part of our story simple and intentional. We want to be present, to sit with the people we love, share a good meal, and take in the meaning of the day without distractions. It’s not about how many people are there, but about how deeply we feel connected to each other and the small circle who helped us get here.
