We met briefly, then before I knew it, he was in my DMs! LOL. We exchanged numbers and starting texting. From then on, we developed such a good friendship, I could call him for anything and about anything and he could call me. Although, I knew he was an amazing man, I didn't want to mess that up. Lol. I wanted to take things slow. I wanted to be ready. He remained patient, yet persistent. Our friendship status changed, when he asked me on a date. I gave in and said yes and just thought "Why Not?". After our first date, he asked me on another one, this time it fell on Valentine's Day! A train of events were happening that day, including him having a flat tire and I thought he was going to stand me up LOL. But then he walked in with flowers, and that had to be THE BEST DATE I EVER HAD. We laughed, talked and had a great time. THE REST IS HISTORY. After that we would continue to go on 3-4 dates a week, traveling around the world, starting businesses together and just enjoy each other’s company. I'm so glad I found my twin flame, better half, and love of my life.
On August 2, 2020, we went on our weekly Sunday trip to my parents house. I walked in their house and it was dark. LOL. I was like, "What is going on?". I also seen cake and flowers on the table, and was wondering why they were there. My mom only did that on holidays. So after washing my hands I walk in the den area and my dad quickly opens the blinds. As soon as he opened it, there was a big sign that said "Will You Marry Me?", I turned and Nick was on one knee and asked me to marry him. I ran around the room and jumped in his arms. We both fell. I said yes and.... SEE YOU JULY 25TH.
