James and Natalie first crossed paths in 2018 while working at Toyota. They worked at different locations but were part of the same organization, occasionally finding themselves in the same meetings, aware of each other, but not quite at the right place or time. That changed in 2021 when Natalie relocated to Portland, Oregon for work, putting them in the same city for the first time. They became part of the same friend group and quickly grew close, spending time hanging out with friends, exploring Portland, visiting breweries, heading to the mountains, and attending work happy hours. After eight months of working together, James asked Natalie out on their first official date to Jake’s Grill in Portland. Natalie said yes to a second date shortly after, one that involved a trip to Denver, Colorado for a Jets vs. Broncos game. From there, their adventures together kept growing. The adventures haven’t slowed down since. Today, James and Natalie own a home together and share it with their two dogs, Elway and Tommy Socks. They’re excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who have been part of the journey all along.
