It all started when the groom walked into a Croc store looking goofy in a long parka. A mutual friend thought Bre and Johnny would make the perfect couple, so she took a photo of him and sent it to Bre. While that may have been their “official” introduction, they soon realized their story actually started years earlier. Johnny had grown up friends with Bre’s cousin, so their paths had crossed long before they knew it. Once they started talking, everything just clicked. Bre fell for Johnny’s boyish good looks and funny charm, and Johnny fell for Bre because she’s pretty much perfect. They quickly bonded over their shared love of sports, especially cheering on the Detroit Lions, and rarely miss a game together. And while they don’t share a love of interest on everything (Bre did, in fact, sit through a Star Wars movie for him), they’ve learned that a little compromise goes a long way. Somewhere between game days, family gatherings, and lots of laughs, they became not only part of each other’s lives, but part of each other’s families.
