Green Grocer & Deli
Green Grocer is one of our favorite lunch spots! We love biking here for sandwiches and eating on their patio! Bonus- they sell tons of gluten-free and dairy-free treats! Annie’s favorite is the curry chicken salad on a croissant, and Matt's is the Meat Monster on gluten-free bread.
Lake Geneva Shore Path
The Lake Geneva Shore Path is a 21-mile trail that hugs the lake from start to finish. Annie grew up walking the path with her family, so getting to share it with Matt has made it even sweeter. We’ve had so many fun days out here, just the two of us or with Annie’s family, walking or running along the water and taking in the beautiful homes and nonstop lake views. While the full loop is 21 miles, you can easily hop on and off at different points if you want to enjoy a smaller stretch. Make sure to keep your eyes on the path if you are moving quickly; we can’t afford any rolled ankles before the dance floor opens up!
PIER 290
Pier 290 is extra special to us—it’s where we introduced our parents to each other! Just a short walk along the lake from Annie’s parents’ house, it’s a place we love to visit often. Great food, pretty views, and live music to make for many fun nights.
The Dance Floor Geneva National - Putting Course
Geneva National has a gigantic putting green with 18 mini-golf-esque holes laid out & a bar on the side - a great time for golfers and non-golfers! Matt & John Porritt had an epic match come down to the final hole where John drained a 25 ft bender to win!
