Our Story
Our journey began on October 20th, 2021, at the Hermes Expo, which was held at the Grand Marquis—the very same venue where we're getting married. Our booths were placed next to each other, making it easy for us to chat and get to know one another. The next year, we stayed just friends until December 31st, 2022, when I was out celebrating New Year's Eve with my parents in Bayside. Niko showed up at the restaurant and introduced himself to my parents. A few weeks later, I finally agreed to go on a date with him on January 26th, 2023, at Uncle Jack's in Bayside. It turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made. Fast forward to February 18th, 2024, when Niko, his sister Paulette, and his brother-in-law Yianni planned a trip to Arizona. Niko had pretended not to be interested, but in reality, he had already asked my parents for my hand in marriage. On February 19th, he proposed to me at the Grand Canyon, and it truly became the best day of our lives!
