Our Love Story

Travis and I went to see Christmas lights for our first date, I had never laughed and smiled more than when we were together! From the first day I knew Travis was different - we talked often about our future and how we would set up our Christmas tree to be half Michigan half Ohio State, we would talk for hours on the phone or would be together until all hours of the night, we were inseparable from day 1. We fell quick for each other - and now we are here planning our wedding :)

We went up to Michigan for a mini vacation on Saturday September 28, 2019. We stayed in a cabin with Travis's family right on the water. Travis woke up really early Sunday morning which woke me up and when I did he suggested we go out to the boat dock and watch the sunrise, of course I agreed to it! We bundled up to go out there (it was freeezing) we went out to the dock after Travis had paced around our room for about 30 minutes - me still not realizing what was about to happen. We get out on the dock and I am watching all the fish jump out of the water..still totally clueless...Travis went behind me got down on one knee and when I turned around he was holding the most beautiful ring in his hands and saying the sweetest things to me. I was in complete shock and total awe of what was happening I had dreamt of this moment my whole entire life, I instantly started crying and quickly said yes. It was the most perfect, romantic way I could have ever thought to do it, I was so happy and on cloud 9...it was the best day ever!
