Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes! If not, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding! For this time of year in the Appalachian Mountains, the temperature averages between 85/65 degrees. May we suggest the following: Women: short or mid-length dresses with a cover-up, and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony. Men: light dress shirt (short sleeves are perfectly fine) with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties totally optional.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the ceremony to allow for seating and any last-minute adjustments.

Question

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors on the lawn. The reception will be held inside/near the barndominium. Both sites are on the same property, so no need to worry about moving locations.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! Vehicles can pull right up to both the ceremony and reception sites for easy drop-off. The terrain is gravel and grass, so please plan footwear and mobility needs accordingly.

Question

Is there a backup plan in case of inclement weather?

Answer

Yes, we have a contingency plan in place. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to an indoor or covered location at the venue. Rest assured, we will make every effort to ensure the celebration goes on smoothly.

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is free parking available at the venue.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, as we have hired a professional photographer. However, feel free to capture memories during the reception!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

While we would love to provide a full, open bar for our guests, it is not within our budget. We will be providing a limited amount of beer and seltzers. Guests are welcome to bring additional beverages of their choice if they’d like.

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by 6/21/26 so we can plan accordingly!

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the "Registry" page of our website!

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Question

Will there be any vegetarian, gluten-free, or special diet options available?

Answer

Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP so we can ensure that your needs are accommodated.

Question

Can I request a specific song or make a song suggestion for the reception?

Answer

We'd love to include your favorite songs in our celebration! Please share your song requests or suggestions when you RSVP.
