Jon & Regan met in 7th grade, through church confirmation. They always had a thing for each other, and dated in junior high from 8th-9th grade. When they were 14, they had their first kiss under the stadium lights at a Maple Grove high school football game. They ended up reconnecting at the end of their senior year of high school, when Jon was Regan's physics teacher's assistant. The sparks re-ignited, and they started dating again in August of 2017, right before starting their freshman year at University of Minnesota Twin-Cities. Fast forward to October 2024, when Jon proposed to Regan at a scenic lookout point in the Foothills of Boulder, CO! Jon spent weeks planning with Regan's friends and had a series of surprises to make the day extra special: the proposal itself, best friends flying in from across the country to celebrate, and an engagement party with their friends in the Denver area. They've been together for almost 8 years - through college in Minneapolis, post-grad in St. Louis Park, and now in Chicago, with their cat Lyra, for the last year & a half. They have been blessed with so much love & support throughout the years, and can't wait to tie the knot & celebrate with all of you!
