"One of the most popular seaside destinations in Naples, the mile-long stretch of white sand at Delnor-Wiggins has been rated one of the best beaches in the nation. The 166-acre park is a tropical paradise for beach lovers, boaters and divers. The beach is a popular spot to sunbathe, swim, beachcomb, snorkel and picnic. At the northern section of the beach along Wiggins Pass where swimming is not allowed, fishing is a popular activity. Boaters can launch their vessels into Water Turkey Bay from the boat ramp and travel to the Gulf or up the Cocohatchee River for both saltwater and freshwater fishing. Kayakers can enjoy paddling through estuaries and scuba divers can explore the hard bottom reef in the Gulf. At the north end of the island, behind the picnic pavilion, a tower gives visitors a bird's-eye view of Wiggins Pass and the surrounding coastal habitat."

The first plantings were made by botanist and ornithologist Henry Nehrling in 1919. In the 1950s, Julius Fleischmann added new plantings, created lakes and a pathway, introduced parrots and waterfowl, and opened as Caribbean Gardens in 1954. The zoo holds about 70 species. The main path is about a mile long, and winds past the main animal exhibits through the tropical garden first planted in 1919. Primates in the zoo are housed on islands in one of the lakes created by Fleischmann, and can be viewed from guided catamarans when visitors take the Primate Expedition Cruise. The zoo is an institutional member of the American Association of Zoo Keepers. The garden itself is a member of the American Public Garden Association and the Association of Zoological Horticulture. It is also a designated historic site by Collier County."

Originally carved out of agricultural land in East Naples, the historic course remains one of the few full service public golf facilities in Collier County. They have improved their practice facility by adding three elevated targets, a wider walkway out of pavers behind the hitting area, signage, benches, dividers, and bag stands. Also, keeping up with the course improvements, Hibiscus is now also home to a new fleet of Club Car Golf carts with an integrated GPS system designed to enhance player enjoyment and ensure an enjoyable pace of play.
