COVID-19: Are you cancelling or rescheduling?

Answer

As of right now we are considering postponing our wedding to early March 2021. We are trying to figure it out with the resort and our travel agent and will keep you updated.

I see the hotel is having great deals, will the deal through the travel agent be better?

Answer

We are experiencing a crazy time in travel right now where nothing is how it usually is. Our travel agent is currently working on price matching at the moment and will let us know what the best booking options are. I will keep the page updated! We should have more info soon!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! We ask that you please RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

We would appreciate your RSVP no later than November 15th. We did not do mail in RSVPs. Please RSVP online.

How do I book my stay at the resort?

Can I stay at a different resort?

Answer

Our contract with Finest Playa Mujeres Weddings requires our guest to stay at the resort. We will be arriving at the Finest Playa Mujeres Resort on 1/12/2021 and staying until Sunday 1/17/2021. Then we are off to a different resort for our honeymoon.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

The resort is kid friendly, however, kids are not invited to the wedding.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Daily high temperatures are around 81°F, rarely falling below 76°F or exceeding 85°F. The lowest daily average high temperature is 81°F on January 14. Daily low temperatures are around 68°F, rarely falling below 58°F or exceeding 75°F.

What do I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The hotel has a dress code for the reception. For Ladies: Long pants, Capri pants, skirt and blouse or dress For Gentlemen: Long pants, dress shorts and dress shirt or polo shirt. Casual shoes or elegant sandals must be worn T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, bathing suits and beach sandals or flip flops are not allowed. The ceremony is on the beach so feel free to kick off your shoes and go barefoot in the sand.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony is on the beach. The reception is at the Grand Palapa. All guests of the wedding will meet in the lobby at the martini bar prior to the ceremony.

Answer

We are registered at Macy’s and Bed Bath & Beyond.
