The dress-code is semi-formal! So tuxedos and gowns are welcome, as well as suits and cocktail dresses. We ask that you wear whatever you are comfortable in, but please refrain from wearing jeans and from wearing the color white. We recommend bringing a heavy coat. The wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors but the shuttle between the Lodge and the wedding venue can be a bit chilly, it is Mt. Hood after all.
RSVP's will be open on this website when you receive your formal invitations. After that, you'll have until September 1st, 2024 to RSVP. You can also RSVP by mail after you receive your formal invitation. We ask that you get your responses in as soon as possible, it's important to the venue to have a headcount so we can make sure you don't go hungry and there will be a seat for you to sit in! If you have any difficulties RSVP'ing, please text or call Jack or Emily.
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning all devices should be silenced and put away for the duration of the ceremony. Although we would love for you to capture the moments of our special day, we kindly request that for the duration of the ceremony that you silence your devices and put them away for the sake of our hired photographers. But don't put them away too far, we will have a re-do moment after our first kiss as husband and wife to allow you to take as many pictures as your heart desires. During the reception, take as many pictures as you want! Just the ceremony will be unplugged.
The event will be comprised of the wedding ceremony and the reception, which will include a full dinner, dessert, drinking and dancing.
We will be providing beer & wine for 3 hours during the reception. After that, you will be able to purchase your own.
Our wedding will be taking place behind Timberline Lodge, at Silcox Hut. We will be providing the shuttle between Timberline Lodge and Silcox Hut. So your job is just to get to Timberline Lodge, and there will be free parking there. We ask that you be at Timberline Lodge no later than 3:45pm, the last shuttle will leave at 4pm and if you don’t make it you cannot attend.
