FRIDAY: Guests should either Uber or drive to Adios (2218 1st Ave N., Birmingham, AL 35203) for the Welcome Celebrations. No transportation will provided from the Valley Hotel. SATURDAY: At 3:20PM, shuttles will be provided to bring guests from the Valley Hotel to the Rookis-Poole House (924 Essex Road) for the ceremony. Shuttles will also be provided after the ceremony to take all guests to the Birmingham Museum of Art starting at 5:00PM. Shuttles will be available after the reception to take guests back to the Valley Hotel or to the afterparty. If you are not staying at the Valley Hotel, please either drive or Uber/Lyft to the Rookis-Poole House. Keep in mind that Uber/Lyft wait times can be longer in Birmingham.
While we love our guests' children, our wedding weekend is an adults only celebration.
Late October / early November is normally mid-high 70s during the day and mid-high 60s at night but please check the weather app before packing as it could be warmer or colder!
Our wedding weekend overlaps with Halloween and we're asking guests to please refrain from wearing costumes. We will have some festive activities throughout the weekend to celebrate Halloween!
