Join us for a joyful combined Haldi ceremony filled with music, colour, and love! Turmeric, sacred in South Indian culture, is applied to the couple to bless them with beauty, protection, and a fresh start. Following Haldi, we’ll have the Devthakaryam – a ritual honouring our family deities and ancestors, seeking their blessings for a harmonious marriage. We’ll also celebrate the Bangle Ceremony, where the bride is adorned with glass bangles by the women in her family – a beautiful symbol of love, prosperity, and new beginnings. All ceremonies will take place at the same venue, starting with Haldi and followed by lunch around 12:30 PM. All food will be vegetarian. For dietary restrictions (GF, DF) please contact the bride or groom!

Our South Indian wedding is a heartfelt celebration of tradition, love, and sacred rituals. It begins with the Muhartham- an astrologically chosen moment marking the start of the couple’s union. A key highlight is the Thali (Mangalsutra) Ceremony, where the groom ties a sacred necklace around the bride’s neck, symbolising marriage and lifelong commitment. The couple then completes the Agni Pariksha and Saptapadi, walking around the holy fire and taking seven vows, each representing promises of love, respect, and a shared future. Traditional South Indian Feast: Authentic vegetarian dishes served on a banana leaf for a true South Indian experience.
