For any and all questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Pooja, Abhinav or their parents! We're excited to celebrate with you and want to ensure each of you has a phenomenal time!
Question

What time should I arrive for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We welcome all guests to attend each of the Wedding Ceremony rituals, beginning with the Kasi Yatra at 8:00AM, and we ask everyone to arrive into the Lakeside Pavilion where the Wedding Ceremony will take place by no later than 9:00AM to ensure you are seated prior to the bride's formal arrival. The Kasi Yatra, which will take place outside on the lakefront pathway / patio next to the Lakeside Pavilion, is a ritual that officially begins the Wedding Ceremony and concludes with the groom's formal arrival onto the wedding stage. After the Kasi Yatra, the bride will formally enter onto the wedding stage followed by the Muhurtham, which is the most auspicious time during the Wedding Ceremony.

Question

What type of Wedding Ceremony will be conducted?

Answer

The Wedding Ceremony will be a traditional blend of Telugu and Tamil Hindu rituals. It will be led by priests Shri Chaitanya Sarma and Shri Kalyanasundaram, whom are the family priests for the Brahmamdam and Venkit families, respectively.

Question

Are the events indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will be held indoors. However, the wedding ceremony will begin with a Traditional South Indian Kasi Yatra ritual which will be held outdoors on the pathway / patio next to the Lakeside Pavilion where the Wedding Ceremony will take place.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please see the "RSVP" tab for the dress code for each event. For all events, traditional North & South Indian clothing or semi-formal / formal Western attire are appropriate. Traditional Indian attire includes saris, lehengas and salwar suits (for women) and includes kurtas, sherwanis and dhotis (for men). Answer

Please RSVP for each event by March 31, 2022 on the "RSVP" tab by entering your first and last name. Additional details (timing, attire, etc.) for each event can be found on the "RSVP" tab as well.

Question

What is the COVID-19 policy for the events?

Answer

We want everyone to enjoy the festivities, but we want to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy - this is of utmost importance to us. We ask that you only attend if you have been fully vaccinated as per your country’s eligibility / guidelines. Per local guidelines, masks do not need to be worn but you are welcome to wear a mask if you prefer. Additionally, we will have a virtual stream to view the ceremony; links will be available on the website prior to the big day.
