Travel Note

Don't forget your passports!

If you've never traveled internationally, you will need to make sure you have a valid passport in time for your flight to Ireland. It's best to order your passport months in advance as they can sometimes take 2-3 months. If your passport is inching close to its expiration date, it's best to renew it before the wedding, as they don't allow you to travel with a passport that's close to expiring.

Travel Note

When to Book Your Flights

Travel experts recommend booking flights to Europe 90 to 100 days before the travel date for the best prices. That's late April to early May 2020.

Where to Stay

Wanna stay near the the couple? Lauren + Joe have an AirBnB in the Old City/Temple Bar districts by the Grattan Bridge and City Hall. Their AirBnB is reserved for August 6 to August 12.

Flight

TBD

Since everyone is flying from different places on different days, it is unrealistic to coordinate flights. However, Lauren + Joe will share their flight information when they have it. They intend to fly from Denver to Dublin on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Lauren + Joe can also confirm that they are leaving Dublin (to fly to Malta!) on Wednesday, August 12.

Travel Note

Are We Going Anywhere Else?

Lauren loves, loves, loves Dublin and plans to spend the bulk of the Ireland trip there, with little day trips to other cities like Howth or maybe Galway. However, feel free to plan your time in Ireland as you please ... as long as you are around for the wedding on 8/10.
