We’re getting married !

In the spring of 2012 Jason was looking at where he would attend college come the fall. He visited his sister at Iona College, where Sam was in her second semester of her freshman year and had just joined a sorority which Christie was also a sister of. Jason and Sam were introduced but never really got to know each other. The night of formal ! Fall of that year when Jason began his freshman year at Iona. Sam’s sorority was holding their fall formal. Christie had suggested that someone take her brother. Sam and Jason knew each other a bit because they both worked at Iona’s Phonathon. Sam, thinking Jason was cute, considered but ultimately never asked. Jason and a couple of his roommates decided to crash the formal anyways without any dates either! Towards the end of the night Jason saw Sam at the end of the bar and said to his roommate Tim, “I’m going to make my move.” Jason, with a little bit of liquid courage, thought of the perfect pick-up line. As he approached Sam, the smooth criminal asked “Hey, are you going to beech tonight?” The first kiss ! Sam and Jason waited outside in the pouring rain to get into Beechmont bar. Jason offered to walk Sam to her friends apartment. As they began walking the rain started falling harder and harder. Jason, being the ultimate gentleman, offered his jacket and to carry Sam’s heels as they ran through puddles. They approached the apartment building and shared their first kiss in the rain. February 14th, 2013 Jason asked Sam to be his girlfriend and the rest is history! They spent 3.5 years of college together...eating tacos...eating more tacos and becoming best friends. They then spent the past 4 years commuting to each other between Long Island and Connecticut spending every weekend together. On May 25, 2020 Jason finally popped the question that everyone had been waiting for! On September 5th, 2021, Jason and Samantha will become husband and wife and the love story continues !
