What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by May 3rd, 2025.

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?
Answer
We will send reminders to RSVP as our deadline approaches. Please make sure to send your RSVP by the deadline so that we can include you in our final head count to our vendors. If you do not RSVP in time, we will miss you, but we likely will not be able to accommodate you at our event.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive by 3:30pm in order to allow yourself plenty of time to park and walk to the Finley-Nottingham Rose Garden within JC Raulston Arboretum.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, our dress code is cocktail attire.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Answer
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we are unable to accommodate plus ones beyond those listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to celebrate in style!

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors, while the cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.
Question
Where will the ceremony be held if there is bad weather?
Answer
In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the Cannon Room. We will update the website and send out communication to let everyone know of the change.

Does JC Raulston Arboretum have parking?
Answer
Free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Arboretum parking lot and along Beryl Road in marked parking spaces only. See map at: https://jcra.ncsu.edu/rentals/venues/venue-map/ for more information. Please arrive early to find parking and give yourself ample time to walk from your parking location to the Rose Garden. It's approximately a 5-7 minute walk from the parking lot.

Does the Cannon Room have parking?
Answer
There are several parking decks nearby, and street parking is free on the weekends around the neighboring blocks. Uber + Cab services have easy access to the space.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes, we will have an open bar with beer, wine, and select liquor options.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
During the ceremony, we're asking people to be unplugged and in the moment with us. we promise to share professional photos with all! But after? Go wild!
Question
What color is the bridal party wearing, and is it okay if I wear the same color?
Answer
The bridal party will be wearing blue. Feel free to wear whatever color you like, as long as it's not white!

Will there be an after party?
Answer
Yes! We plan to keep the party going downtown after the reception.
