Laura and Patrick met in Summer 2005 in front of the one and only Primo's Pizzeria & Pub in Downtown Danville. Patrick was out with his buddies after a hard fought Little League game and Laura was with her middle school posse wreaking havoc on Downtown Danville. It was only a matter of time before the two groups came together for an awkward middle school girl/boy stand off. After a speedy and embarrassing exchange, the boys went off to eat at Pete's Brass Rail and the girls were picked up by Laura's mom, Elayne. Elayne was coerced to do a "drive-by" of Pete's so that the girls could harass the Little League boys they had just run into. As they approached Pete's, Laura stuck her head out of the window to yell something embarrassing to the boys. Patrick responded by asking Laura for her cell phone number and she yelled it back to him. The rest is history. They exchanged endless text messages over the following years and became best friends. Laura made it very clear to her family, friends, and Kevvles that someday she would marry Patrick Oswald. Through the 2010s they always stayed in contact and after many years, and a little encouragement from Alina, they finally decided to get serious in Summer 2021. They started going on little hikes with Ruby and Melvin, who also fell in love. In February 2022, Patrick’s cousin (Vincent Bianchina) had a baseball game against Santa Clara University; Northwestern vs Santa Clara. During the pregame, Patrick’s oldest cousin, Ricky, encouraged Patrick to ask Laura to be his official girlfriend. After that, everything was easy. Now, four years later they are ready to make it forever.
