The dress code is formal or black-tie optional, which means that men should wear a suit and tie or tuxedo, and women should wear a formal cocktail dress or pantsuit.
Spoiler alert: it is hot in Atlanta in August. Historically, the high temperatures are in the upper 80s (with quite a bit of humidity). We are unfortunately well-accustomed to it at this point, but we know many people are not, so we strongly encourage everyone to dress appropriately and stay hydrated throughout the day!
Both our ceremony and reception will be indoors. That said, the cocktail hour will be both indoors and outdoors, and the reception venue is surrounded by beautiful gardens that we encourage our guests to explore.
We encourage our guests to make alternate arrangements for their young children, so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.
We have reserved hotel blocks in Midtown and Buckhead, and details are posted on the Travel page of our website.
Both venues have ample parking, but we encourage utilizing Uber and Lyft if you plan to drink. We have reserved Uber voucher codes starting at 12pm on Saturday. Each voucher is good for $10 off a ride, and they are usable to get to and from the church, reception venue, and Loews Hotel. To use them, either use this link (https://r.uber.com/r4300AF2SVA) to download the Uber app and automatically add the voucher, or enter the following code (r4300AF2SVA) in the Uber app.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
