While we want to celebrate with our friends, family, and loved ones, we want to do so in a responsible and healthy manner. Please note, we will be adhering to any regulations Maine has in place for social gatherings. We ask that all guests attending our wedding to have received the COVID vaccine. For those who are unable to receive the vaccine, we ask that you please join us remotely. It is of utmost importance to us - for the safety of our guests, vendors, and the kind folks of Maine, and we thank you for your adherence and understanding.
Classic New England - it could be hottest day of the year and pass 100 degrees [ask Louise about her wedding], or it could be a bit colder and rainy. As our cocktail hour and ceremony will hopefully be outside, we recommend preparing for a cool summer evening temperature for our out of towners. We've pulled the scientific and data-based information for you: The last month of the summer, August, is another warm month in Bar Harbor, Maine, with average temperature fluctuating between 77°F (25°C) and 57.2°F (14°C). The month with the least rainfall is August when the rain falls for 11 days and typically collects 2.9" (74mm) of precipitation. If you are going to be in Bar Harbor for an extended stay, prepare for chilly nights and mornings [60 degrees on both ends] with pleasant daytime temperatures.
Please RSVP no later than July 15th. Thanks!
Cocktail attire is recommended.
We hope to provide a shuttle service to some of the more popular venues with our guests. We will post where the shuttles will pick up from as we get closer to the wedding. This service may only be available in Bar Harbor itself.
