Hiking

There are a lot of great hiking and nature trails on Oahu. Our most memorable hike was the Maili Pillboxes in Waianae, a moderate-difficulty hike that offers great views of the west side of Oahu’s coastline (ask Polly and I about our journey to the top!). Alltrails is also a great resource for other hikes on the island.

Beach

Catch some sun and some waves at the beach! Our favorite beaches are on the west side of the island - Yokohama Bay and Makaha Beach Park. Waikiki Beach is a great, walkable option if you’re staying in Waikiki.

Experiences

Hawaii is rich in culture, history and nature. Experience a traditional Luau at Paradise Cove, a peaceful stroll through the grounds of Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens, or visit Iolani Palace, the royal residence of the rulers of the Kingdom of Hawaii.
