We're getting married!

Alyssa’s Version: It all started with a BBQ at the apartment complex where we both ended up living later on (Soho Lofts). Alyssa brought a salad (and her sister!) at the invitation of a mutual friend. Steven asked Alyssa to be his corn hole playing partner and right off the bat was comfortable and not afraid to show off his competitive spirit. What started off as friends continually grew into something more. Steven’s Version: Agree with all of the above except I wanted to add these clarifying points. - Alyssa just wanted to be my friend (I overcame that one) - Our first date was Legends seats to the Yankees game - Our first real dinner date I locked myself out of the apartment and was late. Still don’t know why she said yes to a 2nd date - She has a theme of running away from me. Hoping this won’t be the case on 1.13.23

As you may know Steven did such a great job surprising Alyssa she did not see the proposal coming at all. Steven orchestrated a brunch with some close friends who were in on the plan. On a snowy day in March by the Hoboken waterfront where we enjoy taking long walks as a couple. Steven got down on one knee and Alyssa said yes! We celebrated that evening with another surprise party with local friends!
