Probably the most popular tourist attraction in the White Mountains region, if you haven't been, you're missing out! Only 20 minutes away from your stay, the Flume Gorge is a natural gorge extending 800 ft horizontally at the base of Mount Liberty in Franconia Notch State Park, New Hampshire. Cut by Flume Brook, the gorge features walls of Conway granite and gorgeous waterfalls. Careful though, leaf peepers will be there for the holiday weekend and will be packed. If you have time to fit it into your trip, put it on your list!
