Wedding Party

Some of our nearest and dearest.

Daniel McKay

Man of Honor

Did we meet in 2005 or in a past life? It's quite hard to say. Easily, though, our friendship has evolved through every phase of life. You can find us lounging poolside, drafting our future timeshare contract, and romanticizing the suburbs. Drunk on laughter induced by made-up story lines, our friendship is palpable to all who encounter it. While we unintentionally “underrate” our friendship, even mere acquaintances cannot help but know its strength. We pick up right where we left off, and our once-in-a-lifetime closeness is a privilege to be included in. Cheers to never-ending beatings of dead horses, impulse purchases, nonsensical narratives, and unabashed joy of friendship with the one and only Daniel McKay.

Jackson Polizzi

Best Man

My best friend, partner in crime, and role model. Like two sides of a coin, different in many aspects, but parts of the same whole. Mutually feeling partially incomplete being so far away, we speak multiple times a week to share funny stories, life moments, and the mundanity of everyday life. I will always cherish the countless hours passing the Xbox controller back and forth, watching God knows what on YouTube, and sampling the best and strangest cuisine that Northern Virginia has to offer. My closest friend and best man.

Grayson Willman

Bridesman

"Sophie, are you allowed to go in boys' rooms?" wondered Grayson's mom when we were hanging out in the third grade. "If it's Grayson, yes," I replied. Thankful for a childhood neighbor that I truly love like a brother. Oh, yeah, thanks for introducing Giancarlo and me. That was cool!

Dylan Winesett

Groomsman

Dylan and I share a deep love for games, media, and beer. He’s always up for diving into the nerdiest topics we enjoy and is usually the first to text me about new Juice WRLD releases… even three years after Juice's passing. Dylan shines in every situation, with a truly unmatched sincerity — not to mention his incredible dance moves.

Katie Peters

Bridesmaid

Katie made UGA feel like home. We clicked so seamlessly that we would get asked if we knew each other before college. Sadly, no, but we made up for all the lost time being roommates for three years—the majority of them during the pandemic —where we formed an even closer connection. Thankful for all of the silliness and sentimentality our friendship represents!

Christian Barahona

Groomsman

A friend I’ve had the privilege of growing up with, dating back to freshman-year gym class. Many fond memories of helping each other plan to ask girls to homecoming, picking him up for rides to school, and finally going fishing after he said he wanted to go fishing for the thousandth time. Always the first and most enthusiastic to plan trips and events. An ambitious, loyal, and well-dressed friend that I am lucky to have.

Bethany Bunce

Bridesmaid

Beth is the one that got away... While Katie and I hit it off after meeting on bid day, Beth had been sliding into my DMs months earlier, before the semester began, as a potential freshman roommate. The kicker -- she "dumped" me to secure her roommate status with no other than Katie! Our friendship was meant to be, even if we were not freshman year roommates. We spent many a college evening craving queso, couch rotting, and sharing a hatred of board games. People forget, but we even moved to Charlotte, NC, together. I feel lucky to have grown alongside Beth in GA, NC, and beyond!

Michael Patterson

Groomsman

Michael, Momo, Big Mo, Big Money Mo. Kindness shows up in everything Mo does. I admire his hard work and ability to travel out of his comfort zone. The second most important type one diabetic in my life. Big Mo has always been an amazing friend and a hell of a pickleball player.

Lauren Boyle

Bridesmaid

Our rituals of lounging a day away and then playing dress up in the evening, curling irons plugged in every outlet with sparkly clothes strewn about the room, remind me of the fun of girlhood together. Lauren ranges from being the go-to hairstylist (please, nobody tell Braids by Katie) to the scrubbed-up scholar. I am equally thankful for the glammed-up nights and the highly casual fast-food runs the following day with Lauren!

Thomas Beamon

Groomsman

Definitely my wisest friend. Thomas has an unmatched curiosity that may have gotten him into trouble back in school, but it’s the same curiosity that’s driven his success in every area of his life. He’s effortlessly hilarious, with a gift for storytelling. Perfect timing, sharp delivery, and a contagious laugh to top it off. I’m truly grateful to have such a loyal and incredible friend.

Jenny Sims

Bridesmaid

Our friendship is filled with the best type of cringe; The kind where we are self-aware enough to laugh about and not dwell upon. We survived the insecurities of middle school, the complexities of high school, and the distance of college. How lucky are we to now look back at it all with joy, hilarity, and confidence?! I am thankful to have a permanent spot standing around Jenny's kitchen island to reminisce about it all, even as homes, friend groups, and stages of life evolve.

Matt Cirillo

Groomsman

How many hours have Matt and I spent watching and rewatching some of the greatest movies ever made, replaying the same COD Zombies map to beat our record (usually restarting 90 minutes in after one mistake), or just talking about life? It’s honestly impossible (and maybe a little embarrassing) to calculate. Through it all, Matt has been a steady example of discipline and hard work, constantly pushing himself and the people around him to be better.

Kate Shroyer

Bridesmaid

Kate, an OR nurse, and I, a teacher, both understand the struggles of being hardworking, underpaid essential workers who have expensive tastes. We know how to support and care for others, and then afterward, treat ourselves accordingly. I am eager to celebrate this milestone with someone like Kate, who knows the balance of working hard and playing hard.

Joseph O'Brien

Groomsman

With such a love for the city and people of Chicago, I couldn’t help but become great friends with Joseph. A loyal friend who is constantly in my corner, Joseph is the first to offer me a ride home, no matter the inconvenience. We shamelessly talk history, anime, and Pokémon.
