New Jersey has always been home for Zachary and Brianna. Both born and raised in the Garden State, they grew up less than 30 miles apart—living separate lives in neighboring towns, never knowing their paths would one day beautifully intertwine. Zach grew up in Lincroft, New Jersey, and attended Red Bank Catholic, where he was actively involved in a variety of sports, including being on the wrestling team throughout high school. Brianna was raised in East Brunswick, where she found joy and purpose running cross country. Their paths first crossed on the very first day of freshman year at Rutgers University, when they met in Frelinghuysen Hall. Though always friendly, they remained casual acquaintances throughout college—until something quietly began to shift during senior year. One unforgettable memory dates back to a spring break trip to Cabo—Brianna traveled with her ZTA sisters, while Zach was there with his Phi Kappa Sigma brothers. One night, as the group was entering a club that felt a bit overwhelming, Zach instinctively stepped in and pretended to be Brianna’s boyfriend, just to make sure she felt safe. It was a small act of kindness at the time, but one they still laugh about today. It wasn’t until their senior year at Rutgers University that their story truly began. On New Year’s Eve of 2020 at Birch in Hoboken, Zach asked Brianna to be his girlfriend—and from that night forward, everything changed. Since then, they've built a life full of love, laughter, and adventure—exploring eighteen states and seven countries together. Of all the places they've been, Chianti in Tuscany holds the most special place in their hearts—that’s where Zach got down on one knee and asked Brianna to spend forever with him. They now look ahead to January 2027 with full hearts, ready to say "I do" at The Park Chateau in East Brunswick, surrounded by the people who mean the most.
