Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and reception will both be held at Powder Major's Farm in Madbury, NH.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask all guests to plan accordingly, as our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm. This being so, please note that doors will not open until 2:30pm as our vendors will need sole access to the space for their preparations before this time. Upon arrival feel free to mix, mingle, and make your way to your seats at the ceremony site.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue available for all. There is a brief walk from the parking lot to the ceremony site. There will be a golf cart available to help escort you if desired.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date with me?

Answer

Due to venue capacity restrictions, as well as our wish to keep our wedding day intimate, we will not be able to accommodate any additional guests not named on the invitation. Formal invitations will include the names of all invited guests. When you RSVP online you will see the names of all invited guests within your party. In the case that an invited guest cannot attend, we kindly ask that you do not 'write-in' a different plus-one in their place. We thoughtfully curated our guest list with the intention of keeping the day intimate, and in turn ask that you uphold our wedding wishes by not adding any guests that were not originally invited by us. We cherish all of you, and made this decision in order to give us ample time with the people we hold dearest.

Question

Can I bring my child(ren)?

Answer

Although we absolutely love your littles, our wedding is an adults-only affair. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Will transportation to/from the venue be provided?

Answer

Due to the sizable parking lot our venue graciously offers, we will not be providing additional means of transportation to/from the venue. If you have any specific transportation concerns that may prohibit you from being able to attend, please reach out and we will try our best to assist in finding a solution. Thank you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that guests wear cocktail attire. We cannot wait to see everyone dressed up and ready to celebrate with us! Please keep in mind that, weather permitting, part of our day will take place outdoors.

Question

Can you accomadate dietary restrictions/allergies?

Answer

We promise not to let anyone leave our wedding night hungry! When you go to RSVP, there will be an opportunity for you to list out any dietary restrictions/allergies you may have. Please let us know at that time so that we can communicate your needs directly to our caterer as soon as possible. Rest assured that our caterer is wonderful and accommodating to all restrictions. Together we will make sure everyone has something delicious to eat!

Question

Is the event inside/outside? Are there temperature controls?

Answer

Yes to all of the above! Weather permitting, we plan to have our ceremony outside, followed by an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour and indoor reception. There is a rain plan in place in the case that New England acts as New England sometimes does. If weather does permit, we will have outdoor seating available throughout the reception as well for guests that would like some fresh air. Inside the venue there is air conditioning and heat, so fear not regardless of weather. The reception space also has a very large fan that provides plenty of air circulation.

Question

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes, but please reach out if you have any specific questions or concerns regarding accessibility throughout the venue.

Question

Where can I stay overnight near the venue?

Answer

There are lots of local options for guests wishing to lodge local to the venue. Please visit the "Travel" tab for our suggested list of accommodations and information on hotel blocks.

Question

Can I take (and post) photos?

Answer

We know we will love to look back and see photos from various perspectives throughout our day, so feel free to snap away during cocktail hour and the reception! We do, however, ask that phones and cameras stay tucked away during the ceremony. We will have plenty of professional photos taken during the ceremony (our wedding photographer is AMAZING so we have no doubt about this). Please refrain from taking any photos/videos during the ceremony as we want all of our loved ones to be present and hands-free with us during that special moment. We kindly ask this of our guests, as it will make that part of our day far more intimate and sweet.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask all guests to RSVP by August 7th, 2024.

For all the days along the way
