Black-Tie Optional Attire
The end of October is a sweet spot and the best time to visit Charleston for great weather and fewer crowds. You've passed the peak hurricane months and temperatures range from mid-60s to mid 70s.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adult only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
There will be a cocktail hour that is scheduled to take place outside in a courtyard weather permitting. The reception will be indoors.
There will be a roughly 1.5-2 hour break between when the Ceremony finishes and when the cocktail hour begins. Feel free to use this time to head back to where you're staying and refresh/regroup or there are plenty of fun spots between the church and the venue. The Cedar Room is approximately 1 mile Northeast of the Church and some of our favorite bars are right there along the walk from King St. Our favorites include Prohibition, Charleston Beer Works, and Félix Cocktail et Cuisine. There's plenty of great shopping right there on King St. as well too. You can't go wrong!
