It's a date!

Lauren and Steven grew up in the same city and have many mutual friends, but they never actually had the opportunity to officially meet until they both swiped right on Bumble. They talked for a few weeks before Lauren finally agreed to let Steven take her on a date on December 8, 2017. It did not take long for them to realize that they had something special.

Lauren and Steven had a getaway planned for Portland, ME. As the pandemic was becoming more of a concern, they decided to cancel their weekend getaway, Steven was still adamant on driving to Portland for a day trip for a change of scenery. Lauren took some convincing, but finally she agreed. They grabbed some lobster rolls and beers to go at High Roller Lobster Co. and drove to Portland Head Light and enjoyed their lobster rolls while enjoying the view of the ocean and light house. After they ate, they took a walk along the cliffs to enjoy the beautiful views. Lauren was looking out over the ocean, she turned around to find Steven on one knee. He asked her to marry him, and she said "YES!"
