What will the weather in Frisco be like this time of year?
Answer
Highs will be in the 60s and overnight lows will be in the 30s. Due to Frisco's high altitude, you can expect warm to hot weather when the sun is out (think pants & short sleeves) and cold to freezing temps when the sun goes down (think layers, warm overcoats). The best way to prepare for these large swings in temperature is by layering clothing, and utilizing articles of clothing that can be worn in multiple different ways with different outfits. Packing a winter hat is recommended if you are particularly sensitive to cold weather

What’s the altitude of Frisco?
Answer
Frisco is at 9,000ft! Symptoms of altitude sickness frequently resemble an alcohol hangover can include headaches, fatigue, lightheadedness, nausea, vomiting, and changes in sleep. Symptoms can occur within 2-24 hours after reaching altitude, but most commonly present 6-12 hours following arrival at altitude. Treatment is usually conservative and supportive: rest, hydration, tylenol. Supplemental oxygen can be used for more severe cases. If you experience any symptoms and they are not improving please let Nick and/or Emma know!

How do I get from Denver airport to Frisco?

By car, it is about a 1.5 hour drive from Denver to Frisco How to Get to Frisco: 1. Renting a car from the airport or Turo 2. Shuttle bus from Denver airport or Downtown Denver to Frisco, CO starting at $35 We highly recommend carpooling if possible!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The venue will be open for arrival at 4:00pm and the ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm

We are asking that this be an adult only event. If you don’t think this is possible to attend without kids, please contact one of us!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Yes! There are tons of Airbnbs in the area and for this reason, we are not reserving a hotel block. While staying in Frisco will be the closest option to the venue and our most recommended location, there are also several nearby options including Dillon (15 min drive), Silverthorne (10 min drive), and Breckenridge (10 min drive). Several options are large properties that are usually rented out for ski season - we recommend boarding together! You can certainly also look at any local hotels, we have some listed under lodging section of the website.
