Mike and Amber's paths first crossed when he visited his friend in Charlotte and they tested out the Carolina online Tinder scene. Mike and Amber (who was living in Rock Hill, SC) both swiped right on each other and their witty banter was an instant hit, but Mike went back to Maryland without meeting in person. After some long distance on and off flirting, Amber threw caution to the wind and traveled up to Baltimore to see if Mike was really worth the hype. After a weekend of wooing, she determined that he was, and they dated long distance for a year. Amber then moved up to Baltimore and the rest, as they say, is history.
