Rob grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Rob began playing football in high school, and by his junior year, he started receiving offers to play football at the collegiate level. Out of 23 D1 scholarships, he decided on Iowa State University where he played right guard on the offensive line. After graduation, he decided to play one more season, and that's when he met Tiffany. Rob works for MillerKnoll as a security professional in Zeeland, Michigan.

Tiffany grew up in Yetter, Iowa on a row crop and livestock farm. After high school, she pursued degrees in Ag Business & International Agriculture at Iowa State University where she met Rob. Tiffany works for John Deere as an area manager and covers all of Michigan and northwest Indiana.
