Our love story began with a press of a button ... you guessed it ... a dating app. We met on Hinge which actually has a high success rate with our friends and family. We had a connection instantly with similar taste in love for country music , you either love it or hate it and a love for hockey which we both developed from childhood memories with special family members. Leaving out important information including opposite teams , of course. For our first date Matt informed me everything would be planned and he is not a fan of "winging things". I let him know this is a no pressure , getting to know you kind of date. Well, the Brixton does not have reservations and Matt did not have a back up plan. The panic overcame Matt and we started to walk around Babylon and explore different options. We ended up at Mary Carroll's (slightly sticky , and gloomy) but we made it work. Like a true gentleman, Matt offered to walk me to the car , slightly creeped out I let him walk me to the car as I gripped my car keys and flashlight , my dad prepared me for stranger danger. However, It was easily one of the easiest dates we have been on and from there spent time getting to know each other , going on adventures, meeting family, and friends.
