Ferry ports on the island of Hvar

We’re excited to welcome you to our wedding on the beautiful island of Hvar!
The closest airport is Split (SPU). From there, you can rent a car and take the Jadrolinija ferry from Split to Stari Grad (~2 hours). The ferry runs several times daily; check www.jadrolinija.hr for schedules. From Stari Grad, it’s a 35-minute drive to Zastražišće.
Alternatively, you can drive 2 hours south to Drvenik and take the ferry to Sućuraj (~35 min). This route is faster by car once on Hvar, as Sućuraj is closer to Zastražišće (~25 min drive).
For those without a car, taxis and buses from Split Airport can take you to the ferry port. Once on Hvar, taxis are available from Stari Grad.

We are coordinating with family friends in a nearby bay (just 3 km from Zastražišće) to arrange apartments for our guests. As this is out of season, we should be able to accommodate most, if not all, of you coming from abroad free of charge for the weekend. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can organize this for you. If you’d like to extend your stay and turn this into a longer vacation, let us know—we’d be happy to ask them for a great rate!
