Balboa Park
Balboa Park is like the heart of San Diego—a massive, beautiful space with gardens, museums, and even the famous San Diego Zoo tucked inside. It’s been around since 1868 and hosted the Panama-California Exposition in 1915, so it’s got some serious history. Fun fact: the park has over 1,200 acres, which makes it bigger than New York’s Central Park!
Sunset Cliffs
Sunset Cliffs is a stunning stretch of rugged coastline perfect for catching breathtaking ocean views, especially during golden hour. It’s a local favorite for sunsets, tide-pooling, and even spotting migrating whales in the winter! On the way there, get yourself some In-&-Out burgers and a shake.
