Are children invited?
Answer
We love your little ones! But unfortunately, we are having an adults-only reception. The only children attending will be those who are part of our wedding party. If anyone needs help with arrangements for child care, please let us know and we will do our best to assist.
Question
Is there a dress code?
Answer
No, we do not have a firm "dress code" for our wedding. While we would appreciate semi-formal and festive attire, your comfort is what is most important. We are having our ceremony outdoors (weather permitting), so we recommend that our guests keep the DC heat and humidity in mind when choosing what to wear! Think lightweight "garden party" attire, but the garden is located on top of wetlands (we're not kidding): https://doee.dc.gov/service/wetlands-streams.
Question
Will there be a time gap in between the ceremony and reception?
Answer
No! We are going straight from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception. Have your coffee in the morning and wear your dancing shoes in the evening!
