A mile-long auto road leads to the top of 700-foot Cathedral Ledge where views across the Saco River Valley to the White Mountains can be enjoyed. The park can be also be accessed from hiking trails at Echo Lake State Park. Once on the top, a new accessible hiking trail leads to a view of the valley. Both Cathedral and nearby White Horse ledges are popular rock and ice climbing walls.
These tiered waterfalls on the Wildcat River have a total cascading drop of over 100 feet, and several levels of rocks you can walk on to enjoy the landscape.
he cascading falls measure approximately 75 feet in total height. The hike to Diana’s Baths is a fairly easy 6/10ths of a mile on a relatively flat, wide gravel path. Being part of the US National Forest System, there is a large parking lot at the entrance to the hiking path and a self-service pay station, which requires visitors to purchase and display a daily pass on the dashboard of their vehicle. This daily pass (currently $5.00 per day) may be used at other national Forest sites as well. Dogs are allowed along the trails, but owners must clean up after their pets.
Enjoy a 34 mile scenic drive along the Kancamangus Scenic Highway starting in Conway and ending in Lincoln NH. Picnic, swim & explore the Swift River, walk along the hiking trails, explore the scenic points of interest along the way.
