As a thoroughly modern couple, Ben & Mollie first locked eyes on each other’s Hinge dating profiles. After some introductory chats, some flirting, and a little social media reconnaissance, Ben asked Mollie out on a date. Mollie’s dating profile listed sushi as her favorite food, so naturally, Ben arranged their first date at the East Village sushi hotspot, Kotobuki. They quickly hit it off at the restaurant, where Mollie & Ben came to know the caring, charming, and fun qualities they both share. It also didn’t hurt that they found each other good looking! As time went on, they got to know each other's friends and roommates. After a fun night out dancing downtown in mid-July, Ben & Mollie shared late night escargot at the French bistro, L’Express. It was there, looking at her across the table, where Ben professed his love for Mollie. The feelings were mutual! They were on cloud nine. Within a few months, Mollie & Ben booked a trip to Iceland together. Due to a scheduling mishap, they both arrived at JFK Airport a day late for their flight. Instead of wallowing in their misfortune and blaming one another, they comforted each other and quickly strategized a way to salvage the rest of their trip. They eventually got on the next flight out and were able to have an amazing vacation together. Mollie & Ben realized that if they were able to be sweet and patient with one another in the face of a travel stress test, they could conquer anything together. Ben & Mollie have since been fortunate enough to travel to the Caribbean and other states to visit friends and family. They haven’t missed a flight since! Fast forward a few years and a few NYC zip codes, Ben & Mollie moved in together in June of 2021. Six months later, Ben popped the question at the Rockefeller Center tree. June seems to be a lucky month for Ben & Mollie, seeing as they met in June of 2018, moved in together in June of 2021, and are thrilled to be getting married in June of 2023! They are so excited to share their love and celebrate with you all soon!
