Question

How far is Tampa from the Venue?

Answer

If you are flying into Tampa, it is roughly an hour away from our wedding venue/area so please take that into consideration when booking your travel. Sarasota airport (much smaller) is about 20 mins away. If you are able to fly into Sarasota it is recommended that you do, however it is a smaller airport and you may not have a direct flight option.

What is the dress code/vibe?

Answer

We highly suggest everyone plan on wearing sandals or just go barefoot for the ceremony. The reception will have a dance floor but is also surrounded by sand so we don't suggest heels. Think beachy cocktail attire. Please no jeans!!! Seriously, Rachel will come for you!

Is there a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Of course there is! The bridal party and family will be receiving information separately about this.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

We'll leave that to you. Personally, we are renting a golf cart on the island as this is one of the main ways people get around. Beach Bums or Island Golf Carts are your best bet here!

Question

If I am staying until Sunday, what is there to do around here??

Answer

Well it's an island soooooo there is a TON of beach real estate to pick from. But if you are looking for some tiki bars, fun shops, or anything like that check out the Things to Do tab and the Schedule tab to see what is around and where the newlyweds will be hanging out!
