Is there a dress code?

Answer

First and foremost, we recommend comfortable shoes for walking in grass. Also, please check the weather closer to the date. October in the DC area can range from hot to chilly. Semi-formal attire is recommended. We suggest guests wear a suit in any color or a cocktail dress (or even a nice pantsuit!).

Are kids welcome?

Due to space restrictions, we are limiting the guest list to adults. Enjoy the night off!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot on-site at the Rocklands Farm Winery. Note, that cars cannot be left overnight. We encourage anyone who is planning to enjoy Rocklands' wine to utilize our shuttle.

What if I'm planning to UBER or LYFT?

Answer

While you can use a ride-sharing app to arrive at the venue, you will not be able to use it to depart. There is little-to-no cellphone reception on the property.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

The ceremony will be unplugged, with all phones and cameras put away. Our Photographer will be taking lovely photos which we will share with our guests afterwards.
