It was on a rainy day that while climbing the dangerous trail up Mount Kilimanjaro, Eric heard a voice coming from not too far, crying for help. He decided to ditch the tourist group and found Paola, trying to help a little bird who's wings were broken. After some love and care, the little bird was safe, and flew away to the now clear orange sky, off to the sunset. Malarkey, we met online. Yes, we are one of those modern couples. No shame of that, is just that the Kilimanjaro story sounds cooler.

After a few months living together on our beautiful home in Manassas, VA, we finally had one day off when we could enjoy ourselves and explore the area. Following a great afternoon, we cooked dinner together and ate under the stars. Later that evening, Eric declared his love and the hopes of growing old together, and opened a box to the most beautiful ring. Carefully chosen to Paola's favorite flower, inside it reads Sinatra's "the best is yet to come". And babe, won't that be fine?
